To be an Effective Teacher

   Teacher can be effective in many ways. Teachers have many strategies on how they can be an effective to their students. In learning, there are also different ways on how the learners can learn.

   An Effective Teacher should not simply teach the knowledge to their learners rather they teach the learners on how they can mold the knowledge,skills, understanding, and attitudes that students will bring in their whole lives. In teaching, teachers should not stay in one corner, in one book; they should use different ways, different approaches in teaching so that a teacher can  place a greater importance to the learners instead as a facilitator of learning for longer time.

   I learned in Harry Wongs’s lecture video, that in students’ academic and life achievement teachers play a large role. Overall it seems to be an effective teacher should know how will their students are doing based on their standardized testing. As teachers in the future there is much more that goes into being an effective teacher than just teaching our students based on tests. And also, we should be able to observe out students learning along the way and change whenever needed to ensure our students are continuing to develop knowledge
